Oh Receiver, flattery indeed! Such a gift speaks volumes of the humility of the Bearer, whose high regard is such that they are convinced a preferable partner or collaborator for them could easily be found. Not necessarily romantic, but often used as such, the desired response is frequently one of blushing refutation, and often delivery of the same message in return: an assertion in some sense that the Receiver feels similarly undeserving of the Bearer. Literal-minded or unenamoured Receivers, however, may take this as both a compliment and an excuse to look elsewhere. Be careful!

Compliments to send in response abound. Affectionate remonstrance is evident in If only; romantic acceptance in Kiss me, you fool! or I'm yours; cheeky concurrence in Prove it; or fond compliment in You're cute.
